Happy Gotcha Day Snack!

MEET SNACK!! Snack is a handsome boy, around 4 months old. You may recognize him from about a month ago, when he came in with his brother Snick. Snack was adopted in early November, but he had to be returned to us at no fault of his own. The adoption unfortunately didn’t work out due to a disgruntled roommate situation. As if that wasn’t sad enough, Snack then came down with a pretty severe case of pneumonia from a secondary bacterial infection. He spent a few days at the emergency vet on fluids and high dose antibiotics to get him stable, then continued treatment at our vet’s office where he thankfully made a full recovery! Poor Snack has been through a lot, but he hasn’t let anything get him down. He is still a happy-go-lucky, loveable puppy with all the puppy energy. As he grows, we definitely think Snack is a lab/shepherd mix, and his ears are starting to perk up more and more each day. He is growing like a weed! We think he’ll be at least 70 pounds (or more) full grown. Snack is a wonderful pup who loves everyone. He’s doing great in his foster home and loves his doggie brothers and sister. He loves to play with toys and with the other dogs, and he loves to run around in the yard. Snack learned how to use the dog door at his foster home quickly, and he appears to be mostly housetrained. He is crate trained and can hold it overnight. Snack is a super smart boy and learned many commands very quickly. He knows sit, down, and come already and could surely learn more! Snack appears to be good with kids too. Snack is ready to find his forever home…will that be you?
