Foster update: Sunny says Saturdays are for play dates! Sunny has been doing great for the past couple of days at our house. He’s learned to go up and down stairs, walk on a leash and all about how doors open and close. He’s getting socialization with dogs and people, and loves all kinds of toys, as well as fetch! He is great in the crate (loves his little private space), goes in without a fuss, and is doing extremely well going potty outside. He’s food motivated, eager to please, knows his name and comes when you whistle! He can be mellow and snuggly, and is sometimes frisky. He has normal puppy behaviors like jumping up, playing too rough, and some playful nipping to dogs and people when he gets overstimulated. We typically redirect this with a toy or ball, or give him some crate time to decompress.
