Happy Gotcha Day Thor!
MEET THOR!! This handsome guy is about 1.5-2 years old and one of the newest rescues for LFS. Thor was an owner surrender to the shelter for no apparent reason. He is a sweet boy who is a little scared of new situations and loud noises, but once he’s had a chance to sniff you, he quickly opens up a little and tries to snuggle his way into your lap. Thor seems to know some commands already, though he could use an obedience refresher course because he can sometimes get distracted easily. Thor appears to do well with other dogs and was actually surrendered with another dog (who got rescued by another group), so he would probably like to have a doggy buddy. He has not yet been around kids but fast movements and loud noises seem to startle him sometimes, so children around 10 or older might be best. Thor has started working on crate training and doing well so far. He will be moving to his foster home in the next couple of days so stay tuned for updates as we learn more about him!
