Meet Yogi Bear. Super sweet 2-year-0ld boy. He was on euthanize list for today and his last few hours at the shelter. Lucky for him, we fell in love with his sweet eyes, and we rush him out of there just in time. When he arrived to us he was HW, very thin and with an ear infection and skin infection. He was treated and he is doing great. His skin and coat are starting to shine and he is as happy as a dog can be. Yogi Bear is only 40 pounds so he is a great size for someone looking for a small lab mix. He gets along great with dogs and people and he is awesome with kids even his human foster brother who is a 6 months old toddler. Yogi is a special dog looking for that special home that will shower him with affection.
UPDATE FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Yogi had no problems with the other dogs. He is such a low maintenance dog, sometimes you forget he’s even around! Usually that means he’s snoozing on his bed. He continues to do well with the kids even with our youngest (as you can see in the pictures). He’s so mild mannered with them and extremely gentle. They can give him treats with no worries of a snatching. I’ve continued to test him at his bowl and am able to pet him/remove the bowl no problem so far.
