Happy Gotcha Day, Burt!
MEET BURT!! Burt is the super cute, 6 month old son of Betty. He is also a golden retriever/Labrador mix and is just as precious and sweet as can be!! Burt was well taken care of by his momma, but now it’s time for him to find his forever family. We are in desperate need of fosters, so Betty and Burt are both currently staying at our vet’s office. We have learned that Burt would likely do best in a home with another dog, as he seems to follow cues from others.

FOSTER UPDATE 9/12: Over the weekend, Burt got to go out on the boat for the first time and he loved it! His foster mom said he seems to like to swim as well. How cute! His foster mom says that Burt has learned how to use the doggie door and seems to be potty trained. No accidents so far. All he wants is to be loved and play with his foster siblings. He would do best in a home with another dog who he can play with and learn from.
I am very interested, if we have a dog already – is it possible to visit Burt with our dog to see how they interact?

Hi Morgan,
We actually require a meeting with the entire family including any other dogs in the house for any of our adoptions. You would first go ahead and fill out and application and once approved you can set up a time to meet him.
