HAPPY GOTCHA DAY, CANDY!!

Update from Candy’s Foster Mom:  Candy is doing great!! She is such a sweet heart! We made our first trip to the dog park this past weekend and she had a blast!  She’s a little bashful at first and was probably overwhelmed by the number of dogs that greeted her but she quickly over came her shyness and was romping and rolling with the best of them!!  She loves her quiet time too as long as she is not to far from you. She loves to be loved and she returns every bit of it with hugs and kisses. By hugs, I mean she will lie over top of you if you let her and nuzzle her face on the side of your neck with a paw over each shoulder. It seemed to me she was “hugging” me…  : )  She gets along great with other dogs and rides great in the car. She is crate and house trained and she knows sit, down, come, off, shake and will go after anything you throw for her. She and her foster sister love to play tug-a-war with their toys. They have a blast together!

PS The pictures I am attaching may not be good enough for the website since I took them with my cell phone. But they are SO cute!!  She was exhausted after the dog park! : D

Meet Candy!  She is a very sweet, smart and always smiling girl. She is quickly picking up on my directions. Since she is recovering from being spayed I haven’t been able to play much with her outside but she walks really great on a leash. She does get excited when other people or dogs come around and starts to pull on the leash so we’re working on that. And she still needs some help getting house trained but she is crate trained. She loves other dogs as far as I can tell. I’ll know for sure once she can play at the dog park. She seems to also love kids but I don’t know how she is around cats. She loves to lay by my side with her head in my lap while I’m watching TV. Oh, and she rides in the car perfectly.
