Meet Carl

Carl is a 6 month old boy ready for his forever home! Carl is a sweet puppy that is easy going and very smart. He is almost fully potty trained, does not bark at all in his crate, knows his name very well, and has learned both sit and shake. He is pretty non-destructive, especially for a lab puppy, and is also very calm for his age. As long as he is snuggled up on the couch with you or playing fetch with his beloved tennis ball, he is one happy pup. He is also food motivated, which has made working on some basic commands with this pup very easy!

He has done really well with our lab mix and think he would do excellent in a home with another dog to befriend, but he could also be an only dog as long as he gets doggy daycare socialization. He absolutely loves daycare and playing with other dogs!

He prefers to be completely attached to his people, including laying right on top of you and snuggling in, then passing out. He is very affectionate and you will appreciate all of the love and snuggles he has to give! We know all homes don’t like dogs on couches, but this is definitely a couch dog if there ever was one.

Carl is a very special pup with lots of love to give to the special family that adopts him!

update 03/30/2022: It’s rare to see Carl without his ball! He is a favorite among the staff! He is starting to learn to swim too!

update 03/23/2022: Everyone just LOVE CARL!!! Such a fun active dog with so much personality. He still is looking for a foster home or his forever home. He has a blast in daycare.
