Labrador Friends Adopted - Charlie2

Happy Gotcha Day, Charlie!Labrador Friends Available Lab - Charlie C-1-4Meet Charlie. This 7 years old was dropped off at animal control because he was afraid of storm. With the help of a good Samaritan who pulled him on his last few hours, he is now safe. Charlie is a big goofy boy. He gets along with other dogs although he is not too playful. What he really likes to do is hang out with people. Within a few hours he is very attached to my nephew, who is visiting me, and does not leave his side. He is 85 pounds and could use a few more pounds. His coat his sun bleached but once that changes he will be a dark chocolate color. We believe he is housebroken and once he is attached to you he really does not go anywhere even off leash. He is indeed afraid of storms and he has some separation anxiety but I have seen worse. As long as someone is home with him where there is a storm he just paces around a little. Because of his separation anxiety he would not do well in a home where he will be home alone for a long time each day. The company of another dog helps.  He is great with kids, even little ones. He is super easy,  he absolutely loves to go on car rides and walks. He would be a great dog for a retire person/family who just wants a dog to hang out with. Overall he is a just a gentle giant deserving of a new chance in life. He loves to fetch and play tug of war, he knows sit and down, he rides well in the car, he stands still for a bath, and he adores to be brushed…. I am sure we will soon find out what he does not like but so far he is loving every minute of his new life.Labrador Friends Available Lab - Charlie C-1-2
