Meet Clark Kent. He is a super cute puppy, it just does not show yet. He is 10-12 weeks old. He was found by animal control with this very bad case of mange and a skin infection. It is even hard to see which color he truly is, but he is black. We could not leave him at animal control in so much pain so he is now at our vet getting treatment. His name reflects our optimism: we expect him to look “super” in a couple of weeks. Come back often to watch his progress as that will be truly amazing. UPDATE 9/10/2013: Baby Clark Kent is all snuggled and warm after a big breakfast this morning. We love to see him wag his tail!

UPDATE 9/25/2013: Clark is doing well! He has gained 10 lbs and is learning house-training and how to sit. He loves to play and his skin is much improved. He is still taking antibiotics for his infection and Ivermectin for his mange, but his hair is finally starting to grow!
