Meet Ellie. She was surrendered by her owner to a vet clinic with a broken femur. She is 3 years old and super sweet. Most of our fan have already met her on FB. The support from our supporters was so amazing that we were able to take her in and quickly send her to a specialist to get fixed. She had surgery already and she is recovering very well. We do not know how Ellie’s life was, but it must have not been too fun as there are signs that she grew up under severe malnutrition. Her life has changed now. She is in a lovely foster home, getting multiple small meals per day . Her foster brothers take turns sleeping next to her to keep her company. She is already walking and putting some weight on her leg and we expect that she will want to play in no time. Ellie recovery is still long but her progress is amazing. Ellie is super sweet, playful and gets along great with dogs and people. Come back often to her page to see updates!
How is Miss Ellie doing? We are interested in her. We Have 2 Golden Retriever males ages 5&12. 2 years ago we found a male roaming the streets and nurtured him since he was malnourished and heart worm +. We paid for all of his care and now he is happy and healthy in his new home
We have started fostering for Atlanta Lab Rescue, been approved by numerous rescues and would love to show Miss Ellie what being a family member is like
