Happy Gotcha Day!
Meet Joslyn. She is 3-4 years old and she is Koda’s daughter. She is a pure lab although in her case we don’t have papers. She was clearly used to for breeding for many years. She is now spayed so no more breeding for her! Like Koda she arrived to us HW positive. We have treated her and she is now recovering. She is sweet but also very shy and she will need a patient family ready to give her the time she needs to get out of her shell. The process may be a little longer than the average lab but it will be incredibly rewarding. Stay posted for more pictures on sweet Joslyn.
UPDATE:
Jocelyn loves to go to work with her Foster Mom and her favorite thing to do is to snuggle up with her Foster Doggie Brother. She continues to come out of her shell but is super shy and wary of new things and people. She is now potty trained but still needs encouragement to walk outside. She has gone to the park a few times and does ok as along as her foster brother is close.
Probably best in a home with no kids but definitely another dog. Someone will need to be patient with her shyness.

We are located in New York (East Hampton) and have been looking for a rescue lab since we lost our labs. They were amazing girls (mother and daughter) who both lived into their 16th year (!!)…they touched our lives with the love only a lab can give.
We have a 7 year old wire-haired daushand….
Will Joslyn be adoptable in the near future? And would she accept another dog in the home?
Out daughter is attending school in Savannah…we would love to hear from you…and possibly meet when we are in your area…..

Joslyn is doing well and getting more relaxed and happier every day. We in fact think she will do better in a house with another dog to follow. She truly loves and watches her foster brother. She will do well with a laid back dog who would not jump all over her and give her space. She is now with a senior lab and she loves that. I will ask foster mom to send an update for the website. Sometime we post pictures on facebook if you are following us there.
