Meet Louie
Meet Mr Louie is super sweet and seems to be happy just going with the flow. He loves people and will happily soak up as much attention as he can possibly get. He has been great around the other dogs in his foster home thus far and is respectful of their personal space. He was briefly introduced to a family member’s cat last night and although he was very interested in her, he remained calm and gentle. His previous owner said that Louie likes cats in general but they don’t always like him back. He’s a very big boy so they could just be intimidated by his size- who knows! He is said to be 9 years old so while he isn’t super energetic 24/7, we have seen him get excited over balls and bones so he’s still got some spunk. He needs a home with no stairs.
Foster update: Mr Louie has been in a foster home about a month now and this big boy has been perfect. Louie is 9 years old. Louie is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. He wasn’t super active when he first arrived but seems to have more pep in his step now. He loves to play fetch and has a cute habit of carrying around a toy in his mouth almost anywhere he goes. He enjoys being outside and laying in the sun. He also loves attention and being loved on. We work from home and he does great while we work and can easily entertain himself or nap right next to us. Louie has free roam of the house and has been excellent while we are not there. He sleeps in his bed right next to us and doesn’t make a peep until we get up. We honestly have nothing but great things about him!
