Happy Gotcha Day!!

Meet Lucky! He is a big, 17 months old  pure lab.  When I say big, I mean he is 107 lbs now (although he could lose at least 10 pounds).  Lucky’s family has decided that they do not have the time to dedicate to him as much as he deserves and they have asked us to find the best possible home for him where he would get a lot of attention, playtime and, ideally, a four legged friend to play with.  Lucky LOVES to play fetch. He will sit and shake hands on command and if you say, “Lucky, where’s your toy?”, he will immediately run around the entire yard until he finds one of his Kong toys and proudly brings it to you to throw for him. When you are playing fetch with him, you can say, “Ready, Lucky?” just before you throw his toy, and he will sit down and wait for you to throw it before running for it.

Lucky He lived inside our home from 6 weeks old until he was about 10 mos old, and as of the time the family decided to let him be a permanent outside dog, he was completely housebroken. Lucky is trained in the invisible fence but we do not allow dogs to be outside along in the invisible fence, plus it is time for him to get back to be an inside dog. Lucky was really happy when our volunteer showed up with her dog to temperament test Lucky. You can see in the movie how much he enjoyed some play time. We really think Lucky would be happy with another dog in the house of with frequent play dates with four legged friends.  Lucky is all you can ask from a lab. He is 100% inside and out.
