Meet MAYER! Mayer is the newest addition coming to LFS. He’s about a year old and was found as a stray. No one came to claim Mayer and with no owners to be found, he found himself in need of some help. So here he is! Mayer will be going to a foster home soon. UPDATE 2/4/17!! We can’t believe this guy hasn’t found his forever home yet! Mayer is a handsome boy with a beautiful white coat and a great personality! He is young and full of energy, perfect for an active family or single person. He loves to play, does well with most other dogs, and is happy to give you kisses too. His foster mom reports that he is housebroken. Mayer is still a puppy at only around a year old, meaning he still has his mischievous side, so his foster mom says she does crate him when she leaves the house. He’s not super fond of the crate but she’s working on it. We believe that Mayer would benefit from a home where he can get a good amount of exercise, and he’d love a fenced in backyard to play in. Mayer is medium sized and perfect for someone looking for a smaller lab mix. *Mayer does not do well with cats, as he likes to chase them.
we are a family of 4 with an 8 year old boy and 3 year old boy. we are an active family that spends a lot of time on the water, beaches, boating, etc, and training for triathlons. so we really want a water dog who is great with kids and loves to swim, bike, and run. i grew up having labs and rotties. Mayer looks like a beauty and we would love to know more about him. 4076872814
