Happy Gotcha Day Rambo & Henry!

MEET RAMBO!! Rambo was formerly known as Finn from Midnight’s Star Wars litter. He was adopted from LFS as a puppy, but unfortunately his family can no longer keep him, so he is back with us and looking for a forever home.
Rambo is a sweet and happy 10 month old Lab/Catahoula mix. He is house broken and crate trained and is used to sleeping in his crate at night. He has been raised with young kids and does well.

Rambo does have a very high energy level so he would do best in an active home with a family that can give him plenty of exercise. He would love a fenced in yard so he can run around and play. Rambo knows ‘sit’ and ‘shake’ and  has been working with a trainer on other commands like ‘down’ and ‘place’. He is good with other dogs and doesn’t seem too bothered by cats, as he has never showed them any attention when they’re around. He loves going for rides in the car and does great. His loves tennis balls and kong toys.

Foster update 03/28/2018: We have absolutely loved having Rambo stay with us! He is such a sweet boy and just wants to cuddle and be loved on! Now that the weather is warmer we have enjoyed taking him on hikes. He has also been enjoying our trips to the dog park. Rambo has gotten along with every dog he has met and loves to play tug-of-war with all his new friends. He is a great watch dog and is protective of the house. He will go check out any weird sounds or let us know if someone is walking up to the door. As soon as they come in he is excited to show his new friend all of his toys! He is also great off leash! He loves to run around the yard with our dog, Stella, after a walk, to finish getting some energy out.

Foster update 03/10/2018: We have had Rambo a week now. It’s hard not to fall in love with the sweet boy. We might be a little bias since we adopted his mom this past summer. He is only 10 months old, so some energy is too be expected but after a good play session he will curl up on his bed. He is also house trained and know his basic commands. In the house, he has not gotten into anything or chewed. He does get excited on the leash but for the most part is really good about pulling. He just wants to love and be loved by everyone. He is very smart and is eager to please. He would make an amazing addition to any family and would love to have another playful four-legged friend. He has also been around cats and shows no interest.

Update: First off, what a sweet dog! He just wants to please and be loved! I don’t think it’s a must but preferred if he had another dog with some energy because he loves to play! I think he would also be ok with kids but he is just a good sized dog with energy but other than that very gentle! Also he is good with cats. He showed no attention to my friends cat. They cat was the one that didn’t like him.
