Meet Rocket
This sweet boy has already overcome more than any puppy should. He was found abandoned next to a small crate on the side of a busy road south of Atlanta, but despite such a heartbreaking start, he hasn’t let it take away his loving spirit.
Because of his past, he can be a little timid when meeting new people. However, once he learns he can trust you, he becomes the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. He loves giving hugs, snuggling close, and simply being near his people.
He’s quickly learning that he’ll never have to worry about his next meal again. He initially showed some food guarding, which isn’t uncommon for puppies who have experienced neglect, but he has already made tremendous progress in just a few days with consistency and reassurance.
As his confidence grows, his adventurous personality shines through! He’s curious about everything, eager to explore, and always ready to investigate something new. He definitely has a fun, playful spirit.
This little guy is expected to be a big dog one day, you only have to look at those adorable oversized paws to know! He’s doing well with potty training but will need continued patience and consistency as he grows. He also gets along great with our other dogs.
All he’s looking for now is what he’s never truly had: a safe home, a loving family, and someone who will show him that he’ll never be abandoned again. In return, you’ll gain a loyal best friend with a heart full of love and a lifetime of adventures ahead.
