Meet Wayne!

Wayne is a 4-year-old purebred chocolate Labrador Retriever looking for a home that understands his needs and can give him the life he was bred for.

Wayne was bred to have a job, not just lounge around. He’s an active, driven boy who thrives with purpose, exercise, and structure. He’s spent the past couple of weeks with our trainer refreshing his manners — the report is that he’s been a great listener and an eager student!

Wayne would do best with:
– A home with plenty of space to run and explore
– A confident, experienced owner who can provide strong leadership, consistency, and continued training
– An active lifestyle with regular exercise or a job to do
– A home without small children or other dogs

Wayne has spent much of his life in a kennel, so adjusting to a busy home environment can be overwhelming for him. He can become overstimulated when there’s a lot going on, and he’ll need someone who understands this and can help him settle into home life at his own pace.

Wayne has so much potential and has already shown that he can learn and succeed with the right guidance. He needs a home that will give him structure, purpose, patience, and room to be the dog he was meant to be.
