Foster Update 12/1/20: We have really been enjoying her, she has very playful puppy energy when outside but is calm and cuddly inside. Her personality has really blossomed lately, she loves to playfully bark and chase her foster siblings and toys! She gets excited to “go outside” or to go on a walk or car ride. She’s been doing great in public areas.. loves the park and has tagged along for trips to the store. Her holiday wish is to find her forever family… the comfy dog beds and stuffed toys would be an added bonus!

Foster Update 12/1/20: When Zip first arrived, she was so scared and shy that it was hard to see her personality, but that’s not the case anymore! She is full of playful puppy energy, who loves to play chase with her foster siblings, and the beginnings of fetch (doesn’t bring it back every time yet). She really loves going on walks around the neighborhood or at the park… she happily jumps in the car and is ready to go. Inside, she is obsessed with the couch and will cuddle up with you to stay warm. While she is still very timid, she becomes more comfortable everyday and follows her foster siblings lead. She cannot be approached too quickly, so she will need a family that is willing to take the time to bond with her and create a safe haven for her, with a playful sibling and fenced backyard. Zip wants to play, play, play so she would love an active family!

Foster Update 11/15/20: She’s doing so good! She has started playing with her foster siblings and she is quite the toy hoarder… runs over to them, pounces it, then takes it to her bed for safe keeping! She likes going on walks now, she’s made huge improvements with her confidence on them. She’s still doesn’t come right up to us and if you approach too quickly, she gets panicked. She’s house broken, crate trained, great in the car…. we adore her sweet and playful puppy energy.

Foster Update 11/12/20: Zip is doing great. Feeling more confident in the house but in general she is still slowing coming out of her shell. She jumped up on our bed last night and made herself at home so we took that as a good sign! We’ve taken her on a few walks already and she’s really jumpy but overall follows her foster siblings and tries hard to be brave so each time has gotten better! Eventhough she’s scared, she seems to enjoy being loved on and is a really really sweet girl and will need a family who will be patient and easy going while she learns to trust them. Will send another update in a few days!

Foster Update 11/08/20: She’s doing really well and has made improvements! Eating every meal and drinking. She has pottied everytime outside, not a single accident inside. Shes really skittish around us and hasn’t ventured around the house yet but last night she felt comfortable enough to sleep on the dog bed right by us, it was sweet to see her relax enough and start dreaming.
